Civic Commons Learning Journey: Copenhagen

In June 2018, the Civic Commons Learning Network in partnership with the Better Block Foundation hosted Civic Commons Learning Journey: Copenhagen, a four-day study trip that immersed learning network members in the public life, policy and culture of the city. Through explorations of the city by bike and candid conversations with local leaders on the work they are pursuing, we considered how the city is building and sustaining public assets that deliver more public value. The Learning Journey included visits with the Bicycle Chef, Copenhagenize, Reffen by Copenhagen Street Food, Monstrum, Folkets Park, Hans Tavsens Park, Superkilen, Co-Create Copenhagen, Sharing Copenhagen, Tina Saaby, Torvehallerne and Gehl Architects.
